Festival Finale

Over 250 people joined the lantern parade across Newport Viaduct before gathering for a powerful closing performance by Kíla at St Patrick’s Church.

We had over 250 people take part in the Lantern Parade across Newport Viaduct and up to St Patricks Church, where more festival goers joined us for a wonderful, moving performance by Kila.

As well as the wonderful Kila, we would like to thank… Ugnius Brazdžiunas for these lovely photos, Tom Meskell who created the stunning lanterns, AV Acoustics and Frankie McDonald for the sound and staging – and of course to all our fantastic volunteers from Newport, Mulranny and Ballycroy without whom this community festival would not be possible.
